This place is open. I spoke with the owner. It remains to serve the delicious food. I'm not sure who reported it closed but it remains to be open. Please call them. They are very friendly.

I was looking for Indian food and stumbled upon something I thought might have some. The food is Somali -not Indian , but I wasn't disappointed.
The food itself was loaded with so many different flavors. The noodles were cooked in a special spice/sauce that absorbed into them and filled each bite with a unique taste making you wish you had the recipe. The rice was basmati rice with some scattered small cut up cooked vegetables. They call that assortment the "Federation" plate and is best with a meat option. I chose chicken.
Certain quirks about the place are it seems to be an after thought or just something to keep mom busy while the family runs the store/meat market that's attached to the other half of the building. In fact I had to pass through to the other side to pay. While eating a man wearing a butcher apron looking like he was coming off a recent murder walked through. I was a little put off by it and had initial food safety concerns, but seen a certificate from the health department hanging putting my worries to ease.
I think it's great a family has come to share their authentic foods filled with different flavors to the community of Aberdeen. I highly recommend give the foods try to expand your culinary experiences. -

Great food! Big portions and excellent food. The green sauce will take your face off, so be warned. Decor is not great, but just ignore that. You're there for food, not decorations.

I thought the food was great! If you like trying food from other countries this place is definitely worth a stop. The restaurant is nothing fancy but was clean. It's a family owned business. Our food came quickly. You can order a half plate or full plate. The full plate is a lot of food for $12. I was considering a four star review but considering the flavor, amount of food, and low price decided to go with five stars. I would not hesitate to go back again and try something different on the menu.
